We are a leading local animation studio specializing in film and TV production looking for a Business Affairs Coordinator to help oversee the business, legal, and commercial aspects of our projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, dynamic and proactive professional with a passion for the animation/entertainment industry. The position also involves supporting executive management in business affairs and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review commercial contracts, agreements, and negotiations related to animation and film projects.

• Coordinate with legal teams, producers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of business affairs.

• Ensure compliance with intellectual property rights, licensing, and industry regulations.

• Support budgeting, financing, and funding applications for animation and TV productions.

• Assist in business planning, deal structuring, and strategic partnerships.

• Oversee co-productions, talent agreements, and vendor contracts.

• Contribute to marketing and business development initiatives to expand the company’s reach.

• Provide administrative and strategic support to executive management, including preparing reports and business analyses.

Requirements

• Minimum qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Media Studies, Law, or a related field.

• Fresh graduates welcome, but a minimum of 2 years’ experience in business affairs, contract management, or a related field (media, animation, or film industry preferred).

• Efficient and meticulous in handling commercial contracts and legal documentation.

• Excellent organization and task management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.

• Strong grasp of business fundamentals, including marketing, finance, and strategic planning.

• Ability to analyze contracts, identify risks, and provide solutions.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.

• Experience in supporting senior management or executives is an advantage.
